I now have my cell phone back (or at least a very close facsimile with the same number). Feel free to resume sending me pointless and distracting but much appreciated text messages. Or if you are my family, feel free to continue to not ever call me unless you have a medical question.

This is not good. I have no way to figure out what a reasonable facsimile is. However, I may be able to find time in my day to work on exponential variations on the number until I get it right AND annoy many many Alltel users.
Maybe have Keith text Jeffrey who will forward it to me? Sigh. Privacy in virtual world is annoying!
or you could just email me at katkrouse@mindspring.com which is my email I send retailers to and so it is not that dangerous to post it here in a public forum. Then I can have your email as WELL as your number and all will be well in the world (of course then I'll email you from my REAL email address that I actually use.)

maybe the post was confusing. Although I had to buy a new phone (ouch) they did let me keep my old number. So no need to randomly dial facsimile numbers.
